I`ve heard lots and lots of good things about Korres Lip Butters. Finally, during last week`s Sephora VIB 20% sale, I grabbed 2 of them. They are Wild Rose (top) and Mango (Bottom). Each lip butter is named after a flower or a fruit, and they smell like their names. Each lip butter`s original price was $16 Cdn but with the discount, I ended up paying $12.80 for each pot. I personally think that it is a good price for a non-drug store product. Even drug store cosmetics often cost more than $10 nowadays.
On my lips, Wild Rose shows up as a darkened red color. It`s more pigmented than your regular tinted lip balm. The color has decent staying power considering the fact that it is very moisturizing. If I don`t eat or drink, my lips stay moisturized for hours. Mango shows up as a tangerine color on my lips. It`s not as bright as it looks in the pot. It`s the perfect color to brighten up my face on the days when I don`t feel like wearing much makeup. The smell of Mango is also really delicious. I normally prefer non-fragrant lip products, but this is one of the very few lip product fragrances that I love.
Overall, I am so glad that I decided to try these out. Even if you own lots of lip products, you should still this give a try. I`ve been using these on a daily basis ever since I got them. They keep my lips moisturized and looking pretty all day.
