This finally came in the mail today! I ordered it on Amazon for a total of $17.83, as opposed to the retail price of $21 on theBalm`s website. (Boyfriend gave me $20 to spend on Amazon hehe) May I just take a second to tell you how much I ADORE the packaging?! Honestly, when I opened the packaging I was taking my time to examine the packaging before opening it up to test the blush haha. It`s packaging has a smooth cardboard feeling to it, which I like since it won`t get any unwanted scratches. I love the retro feel of all of theBalm`s cosmetics; I`m definitely going to purchase more because of this. :)
It says it can be used as an eyeshadow and blush, but I`m surely going to use this more as a blush haha. The pigmentation of this is pretty amazing and buildable as you can tell from the picture above (1st is just one swipe, 2nd has two, 3rd has three sorry about the quality, my DSLR wouldn`t focus correctly!), so you can have a natural feel to a eye popping color to your cheeks. The powder is pretty soft and smooth too, it has a bit of shimmer if you examine the blush, but it goes on pretty matte. I`ll probably wear this often during the summer since I`ve been craving for a peachy-pink blush!
Have you guys tried this blush? What is your opinion of theBalm cosmetics?
