Okay, girls, just to let you know, this is my VERY first review and so I things *might* be a little rough around the edges here. :)
So first off, let me explain to you that I am doing a review of Essie`s Turquoise and Cacaos nail lacquer. Just so you know, I have been buying Essie brand nail polishes for [what seems like] ever, and I have really never been too severely disappointed in their product. HOWEVER, this particular color is not something I would have ever thought of picking up before. I suppose green-type colors just weren`t very appealing to me in any way.
Not too long ago, though, I found a bunch of Essie polishes on sale for about $3.99 and so I just had to swipe a few of them up. :)
Woo-hoo! Bargains! :D
This color was one that I had to really convince myself to get, though. It`s sort of a sea-foam green in my opinion and has a bit of a shine to it, without it being too overbearing (yeesh!)
But I really liked the way it came out on my nails the first time I tried it on and have been slightly enamored with it ever since. It took about two coats to really get the color showing because it is such a light polish but I`ve been wearing it for about 2-3 days now and it`s still yet to really chip (except for a tiny bit off of the tips but that`s probably more because I also play piano and my nails take a lot of pressure from that). >.<
But anyway. :) I love love love this nail polish now and would highly recommend it to anyone that likes a more green looking palette or just wants to try something new.
I know I`m gonna keep wearing it for a while; I can already see the winter possibilities! :D
