Back in June, I finally caved in and bought my first ever Michael Kors Handbag! I have been a fan of the brand for several years, but their stuff is so expensive that it`s taken me ages just to have 4 things from them, lol. Previously, I bought a wallet from them, then I was gifted a watch, with which I bought a bracelet. This is my fourth piece, but I can tell from how much I love everything I have that my collection is only going to grow!
I bought this particular bag from Beyond the Rack for $300 (with taxes and shipping, etc.). Obviously, this wasnt cheap, and I definitely saved for a long time, and deliberated for even longer, before I actually bit the bullet. I have to say though, I`m SO happy with the purchase! Typically, my handbags are generic/brandless purses from a variety of stores (which I`ve loved as well). I have had a Guess and Nine West bag in the past, and a Coach bag was gifted to me recently, but overall handbags have never been something I invested a lot of money into. Skincare, yes, makeup, yes, hair stuff, yes, but handbags not really. Seeing as I`m pretty satisfied with the extent of my makeup collection and hair tools at the moment, I think my funds are about to take the accessories direction, lol.
As you can see from the pictures, the bag came with a duffle bag for protection (which I use when I`m not carrying this bag). I already have a leather protectant and lotion to preserve the cloth, and I`m careful with this bag when I use it so I can enjoy it as much and as long as possible:).
I`ve used this bag quite a lot this summer so far, and I kinda wish I could use it everyday lol (I cant because it`s not large enough for my school/work needs). Overall, I`m super happy with the purchase and am excited to start saving for another MK bag lol. I already know which one I want!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Let me know if you`re as obsessed with MK stuff as I am. If not, tell me you`re favourite handbag brand or handbag:). I`d love to know!
