A few weeks ago I received a small sample of Greek yogurt to try while shopping at Sams Club. I was super excited because it was my first time trying it, but after the first bite I almost threw mine away. Compared to regular yogurts Ive eaten, the taste is really different. For one its a lot thicker and creamier. Also, it isnt as sweet. Its, I guess tangy is the word for it. Its a sharp taste. It really threw me off. I wasnt going to finish mine, but I decided to give it another shot and mixed it with the few blueberries that were also provided. When combined the Greek yogurt and blueberries tasted very good. I was pleasantly surprised.
This Chobani had peach chunks at the bottom and when mixed all together, it was incredibly good. The yogurt was creamy the fruit was sweet; it was awesome. I am definitely going to buy these again. Now that I am getting used to it, I really do enjoy the creamier texture of Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt also has other positive traits to recommend itself. It is high in protein and low in sodium, making this pretty healthy.
After several tastings, I think I actually prefer Greek to regular yogurt now.
