My First Attempt at at a Magnetic Nail Polish Manicure

I recently purchased a magnetic nail polish, and couldn`t wait to try it out. Truth be told, it was a lot harder than I thought it would be to get a consistent design on each nail, and I did have to start over a few times. But I think I finally got the hang of it in the end. :)

Here`s what I used for this manicure:

Jordana Calcium Boost Base Coat with Calcium Gel

Layla Magneffect Magnetic Effect Nailpolish in Brown Sugar

Milani Quick Dry Top Coat

I was really impressed with the Layla Magneffect polish. I had never heard of this brand before, but this is definitely a high-quality nail polish. The brush is broad and flat, and really easy to control. The polish itself goes on opaque in no less than ONE swipe. Amazing! Moreover, I`m on my third day of this manicure and only have some minor chipping (on one nail). Usually, nail polish lasts a day and a half on me (regardless of the brand). So I`m definitely liking this polish. The magnet, however, is a bit tricky to use - you have to make sure it`s aligned correctly over your nail, otherwise you`ll get a random design, lol. I think I might have to put some marks on the side of the bottle cap so that I don`t have to check the alignment of the magnet before I use it each time. Other than that, this polish is FABULOUS and I`m definitely looking to get some more shades. :)
