My First Aldo Shoes: Derksen

These are a pair of sneaker wedges I purchased from, called `Derksen`. About a week ago, they were still on sale for $24.98. They had free shipping on all orders and I also used a 10% off code, so my total came out to be around $22, including tax.
The shoes are made of synthetic materials and appears leathery. The checkered design sort of feels a like felt.
Here is the description from their website:

With these of-the-moment shooties, you can give your everyday look a lot of style. Textile upper with plaid pattern and solid overlays and trim; silver-tone eyelets.
- Heel Height: 4.25 inches
- Platform Height: 0.75 inches

They`re pretty comfortable to walk in, but as most wedges go, I think they could be more comfortable. Maybe they`re just a bit big for me, but I feel like there`s a bit of a gap between the arch of my foot and the arch of the shoe. That could just be I have a high arch and my feet are small. I could just put in some arch supports to fill in the gap.
I have been somewhat eyeing sneaker wedges for years, but never felt compelled to purchase, because they seem so trendy. I think I first saw them on Victoria Beckham at the Dodgers Stadium many years ago.

When I bought these I liked them a lot, and since I experiment more with my clothing choices, I feel like I could actually pull them off. In fact, my co-worker liked them a lot too when she saw mine and purchased a pair herself.

I am wearing them with:
Denim Jacket - Necessary Clothing
Yellow V-neck Thermal - Victoria`s Secret
White Tank Top - Forever 21
Dark Blue Jeans - Grane from Macy`s (?)
& the Aldo wedge sneakers, of course
