Ok so I`m a really bad person. Admittedly, I use dry shampoos a little more than I should. One good thing that has come out of using so many different dry shampoos is that I now know which ones to buy and which ones to stay away from. My favourite inexpensive dry shampoos are the Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo and Batiste Dry Shampoo.
Before I start, I just wanted to talk about the Lush No Drought Dry shampoo. I`ve heard a lot of good things about it but it is by far my least favourite dry shampoo EVER. In my experience the bottle is extremely inconvenient (every time you attempt to take out the product, the powder flies everywhere) and the other problem with the dry shampoo is that it is normally extremely hard to get all of the powder properly lathered into your hair. After using this product, my hair (which is normally very dark) always looks a little grey. Considering that this product was about $14 Canadian, I consider this a complete rip off and would not recommend this product to anybody.
One of my favourite dry shampoos is the Dove Refresh+Care. This dry shampoo is incredibly cheap. It`s only about $5.00 Canadian so for all you Americans out there it`s probably only three. This shampoo has a really strong scent and will make your hair smell amazing. It also does a good job of removing any oil that might have accumulated over time however, it is not as good at removing oil as the Batiste dry shampoos are. If your hair doesn`t get extremely oil after not washing it, than this product will work well for you.
Another one of my favourite inexpensive dry shampoos is the Batiste Dry Shampoos. This product just works so well for my hair. It has an amazing scent and remove hair oil so well. My hair is really thick and when it gets oily, this product is just great at making it look as though I`ve just washed it - it re-adds volume and removes the greasy look of hair. Best of all, it only costs about $9 Canadian. Also unlike the lush dry shampoo, it`s also easy to dispense and it leaves no white residue in your hair. Another product that works as well as the Batiste is the Klorane Dry Shampoo but it happens to be a bit more expensive so I don`t see the point of buying it.
Anyways what are your favourite dry shampoos? Are there any that you think I should test out?
