Hi everyone! Since my last manicure with Sparitual`s `Slate` nail polish didn`t last even half as long as I had hoped, I decided to switch it up and re-paint my nails before the Thanksgiving holiday, and I pulled one of my favorite shades to wear for the holiday, which is Essie`s `Beyond Cozy.`
The Essie website described this as a `decadent silvery gold glitter,` and I think the description is spot on. In some lights is definitely a silvery gold, in other lights it sort of looks like a beige/champagne gold. What makes it a holiday favorite for me is that it is A) glittery B) it mixes gold and silver so no matter what you`re wearing for the holidays it will be sure to match everything.
With one pass this polish is pretty opaque with only a few, only-noticeable-if-you`re-looking-up-close, bald spots; but a a second coat turns it completely opaque. It is definitely not what I would consider a `glitter topper` since it will more or less cover any base color underneath it.
This retails for $8.50, which is kind of expensive for a nail polish, but I`ve gotten a lot of use out of this polish so it was worth it to me.
Thanks for reading!
