I am a university student and money is always tight. Sometimes I cannot afford beauty salon shampoos, so I thought of trying a few drugstore shampoos. The following are the drugstore shampoos that I will be commenting on: Pert Plus, Head and Shoulders, LOreal, Suave, and Dove. I have a normal to dry hair type, so when I tried Pert Plus, retailed at three dollar Canadian, my hair become extremely dry; hence, this product maybe better suited for those who have very oily hair. Head and Shoulders, retailed at three dollars Canadian, also left my hair feeling very dry, but I felt this product deep cleaned my hair and my scalp. The LOreal shampoo, retailed at five dollar Canadian, seemed to leave my hair limp, flat, and volumeless, so I wouldnt recommend this shampoo for those who are trying to achieve volume. Suave, retailed at two dollars Canadian, is a lower end product that reflects on the results in aspires to achieve. Suave shampoo left my hair clean and nothing more. Finally Dove shampoo, retailed at six dollars Canadian, left my hair feeling clean, soft, and full of volume. Dove has many scents to their shampoos, but the scent that I purchased was cucumber, which smelled very pleasing. I will recommend this shampoo to anyone who has normal to dry hair. It is my number one go to drugstore shampoo.
