My DIY Tie Dye Shirt!

Hello all Luuuxers!

I recently was in the art section of Wal-Mart and saw a tie dye kit. I have always wanted to tie dye a piece of clothing for myself, so I picked it up.

The kit I bought was by the brand Tulips. It was $12.00.

I also went to Urban Planet to find a basic white top. I decided on a basic white V-neck shirt because the material would work better for tie dying.

The process from there was really easy. You just had to pick your design, tie elastics around your shirt, and use the colours to design the pattern. Next, you had to let your piece sit and soak in the dye for about 5 or 6 hours. (if you want the colours more vibrant, keep it wrapped up for longer).

To finish the design, all you had to do was rinse out any extra dye and wash and dry your piece!

So I felt that it was super easy and liked how it turned out!
