So right now my apartment is still in flux and things are changing on the daily. We just moved into this townhouse in July and I`m still trying to organize everything the way I want it to be. Right now, this is what my make-up organization looks like... minus a few things. My "extra" foundations & chapsticks are on the 2nd shelf (my collection is being stored on a bookshelf atm), while my bronzer & foundation (and their brushes) are in my bathroom because the lighting is better in there and most of the time I`ll slap that on and do the rest of my make-up on the go or bring in whatever else I want/need.
In the case on the left:
Drawer 1: my lip glosses & lipsticks
Drawer 2: eyeliners, mascaras, paint pots, & fluidlines
Drawer 3: Single eyeshadows (drugstore & higher end)
The case on the right:
Drawer 1: more expensive eyeshadow palettes
Drawer 2: drugstore palettes
Drawer 3: face products (bronzer, blushes, concealers, setting powder, etc)
In the middle of my acrylic cases (which are from the container store btw) is a circular glass jar (from TJ Maxx filled with filler beads from Michaels) that holds my make-up brushes. Somehow in my move across country & from 3 different places in CA I`ve lost almost all of my eyeshadow brushes... so hopefully I`ll be re-purchasing a set soon). My brushes are from Sigma, MAC, Sonia Kashuk, ELF, Sephora, etc. I don`t really have a brand preference when it comes to brushes, I`ll try whatever but I do try to listen to what people on YT recommend here & there.
Also on the top shelf of my bookcase I have my Soleil Tan de Chanel and a skull ring on top of that from H&M, a candle from Bath & Body Works, a skull decoration from Michael`s, and three lipglosses in pot form.
And that`s that. I`m really liking my set up for my make-up right now but I do want to eventually purchase the Muji case, whether I use that for jewelery or make-up I`m not too sure but yeah. When I find my camera cord, I`ll show each draw individually to you all but for now iPhone pictures will have to suffice.
Do you like my set-up or have any suggestions? Thanks for reading!
