Hi Everybody! It`s been a long weekend and I`m finally blogging again. I recently just got my first DSLR and I realized that I never showed you guys what I was using previously. This is the Canon SX130 that I got two years ago for my birthday. I had been wanting a `higher` end digital camera and Canon was always my favorite brand. So my boyfriend bought this at Best Buy for $249 USD + tax without a memory card or batteries. I`m not sure how much it costs now, but it`s a great camera with amazing features like the fisheye lens and fantastic zooming capabilities. There`s a lot of customization if you want and it can produce pictures similar to a DSLR (if you read the manual and get to know each setting).
This camera is amazing and I`ll continue to use this for everyday. However, there is ONE con about this product and that is how much battery life it needs. You can burn 2 AA batteries within an hour of using this camera (because it needs more power/larger camera). So I ended up buying a Sanyo Enloop rechargeable battery on Amazon for $20 which helped TREMENDOUSLY. So that is the only downside. That, and it is a little bulkier/heavier than regular digital cameras, but that doesn`t bother me at all.

I would definitely recommend this camera to many people. This also has amazing video/mic quality so if you want to record youtube vids or short movies of kids this is perfect! What kind of digital camera do you use? What do you think of this camera?
