I have used some really great, and really CRAPPY make up and beauty products before, so I would like to share with all of your ladies what works well, and what I have changed up in my every day routine as far as beauty products go.
Now I have tried a lot of different foundations, concealers and moisturizers and the ones that I am going to talk about now are really great for my type of skin..
Combination, oily in the T- Zone and dryer on the cheeks. I also tend to break out easily, and use ProActive daily to keep my acne at bay :)
Now here is a list of the products I love to use, and what I love about them -
YSL Teint Radiance and Teint Resist: I am currently using YSL Teint radiance in the color 04 Sand. I used to use the YSL Teint Resist in the color 03 Opal, but it got too light for me so I exchanged it for the YSL Teint Radiance since I am pretty sure they are discontinuing the Reist...which really saddens me because that foundation did WONDERS for my skin! I tried to find the Teint Resist in the color 04 but it was sold out EVERYWHERE, http://YSL.com, Sephora and Nordstrom :( If you can find it anywhere please let me know, I am dying to get my hand on a bottle!
BUT the YSL Teint Radiance is still a lovely foundation. It is medium coverage, goes on smooth and lightly. It has a very light and pleasant scent and is super long wearing. It last me all day, the only thing I have to do it touch up my T-Zone with some powder and I am all set!
Cover Girl Professional Loose Translucent Powder in Light: This stuff is really inexpensive, especially if you buy it at Wal Mart and I love it! It is not the best quality powder but I really love to use this to set my foundation using the ELF powder brush. I helps keep my foundation in place all day, and the only place it does not work so great is t he T Zone to prevent shine!
This may be no surprise to most, but I love using the NYC sunny bronzer. It is matte and super cheap. I cant get enough of this, and it really lays on my face well. It looks natural and you can build the color that you want/need for you face :)
I picked this up recently at Ocean State Job Lot. It was a super great find since it is limited edition..the L`Oreal Project Runway Blush in the color 425, Charming Cockatoo! It is this gorgeous mauvy, rosey pink with a hint of golden shimmer. When I apply it, it goes on smooth and you can barley see the shimmer, but it gives off this great glow! I just love this blush and am so happy to have found it!
Eye Shadow -
Im pretty sure I was the last person to discover just how wonderful Urban Decay`s Naked Pallet is but I finally got it a few months ago and use it every day! I love every color, and love how smooth and long lasting the shadows are. I can not image not having this pallet now and am in love completely.
I have been using this concealer since High school and will continue to stand by it! It is Almay`s Clear Complexion Concealer in light. I use this on any dark spots, blemishes and even under my eyes. It is the perfect creamy consistency and has great and build-able coverage. It does not break me out, and I have extremely sensitive acne prone skin so that is a definite plus!
Lastly, Moisturizer -
I have always struggled finding an affordable and wonderful moisturizer to put on underneath my make up. Luckily I have finally found one! It is the Proactive Green Tea Moisturizer and I can not live without this. I tend to get really dry skin around my eyes, nose and mouth and this fixes that. It is super light weight and has a great scent that is not over powering at all. It feels refreshing when you apply it, and helps my make up go on much smoother. Even if you don`t use Pro Active, you may want to look into this!
I hope my Best Beauty Products of 2012 help some of you ladies find what you are looking for and open your eyes to some new products :)
Do you use any of these things?
Will you now?
