Hey Guys! This post is going to be about my makeup routine as of since June 2011. Yeah its been that long since Ive found products that Ive loved more than these. Except for three new ones which are the BB Cream, Mascara and Eyeliner.
Loreal Youth Code Dark Spot Corrector Day Cream SPF 30 & Serum
I have been using both of these products since they came out one year ago. Well when I first saw them in Rite Aid just had to try them. For some reason whenever I get a pimple, I always get an acne scar, weather I pick at it or just leave it alone. I have never used a product like this from a drugstore that has actually worked this well. Each are about $25 at Rite Aid but when I purchased them there was a buy one get one half off sale going on. These two are amazing, but it does take a while to see results. After about a month of use I did see a big change in my skin. Almost all of my acne scars faded and I just felt better about my skin after using these products. I dont think there are any better products out there for acne scars that work this well especially around this price range so this is definitely worth it.
Bare Minerals Powder foundation in Warm Tan
This is one product that I will use for the rest of my life unless they discontinue it. And I mean that with all of my love for makeup and skin care when I say that this is the best powder that I have ever ever used. This is $25 at Sephora and lasts for about 5 to 6 months which makes It even better. I use the original one but its just perfect for my skin.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
I always top my makeup off with this just to control shine and it makes my makeup last day. This is only $4 at target which makes it worth it because it does last for a while about 4- 6 months. I just love this product :D!!
Loreal Youth Code BB Cream
Its not a surprise that I purchased it once it hit the shelf since I have been obsessed with both the serum and face cream. It is pretty pricey ($13) but I do like it. This is one product that I have a love hate relationship with. It gives almost medium coverage but only when applied with a brush, smells great, has all these great benefits and feels light. BUT, after a long day out (in the heat at six flags) I tried to put some on after hitting the water park since my makeup came off and it poured out of the tube like water, faded a bit throughout the day, and I learned the hard way that it has to be topped off with powder otherwise it leaves my face looking greasy
Revlon Age Defying Under Eye Concealer
Okay this IS discontinued and I do not want to run out of this stuff because I honestly have no idea what I would do without this under eye concealer. I have not tried any other under eye concealers because I never had any thoughts on trying anything else since this one has been so good to me :/ but I still have a backup tube and a good amount in the tube that I have. So any recommendations? :D I would really appreciate it!
Revlon Colorstay Combination/ Oily Skin Foundation- Okay I have tried other foundations but nothing compares to this one. It lasts all day and has amazing coverage. Its around $13 at Rite Aid which is pricey but definitely worth it. Trust me. There is nothing else that I can say other than this stuff is perfect.
Loreal Infallible Eyeliner in Black
Okay so the main reason that I have this is because I was just looking for an eyeliner to line my waterline so I just picked this one up. I do use it once in a while for a dramatic effect but not all the time since it does run thoughout the day which is a huge con for me :/
Loreal Voluminous Lashes Original Mascara
My co worker actually recommended this to me since I was thinking of getting rid of the everyday cat eye that I did before and switching to a much more simple look. This stuff is great and is now my all time favorite mascara :D
Sephora Brand Liquid Liner
I do not use this product anymore since I always just use mascara now since its so much more natural and pretty. But this liner is great and does last all day :x
Elf Professional Powder Brush
I use this to put my foundation on since it is a more dense brush and it applies makeup on evenly which is a must for me only $3 at Target :D
Elf Kabuki Brush
I use this to apply my powder on. Its only $5 at Target ;)
