I love mushrooms in any forms, shapes and sizes! I especially like using shiitake mushrooms when I am doing a stir fry or when I am braising because it gives the dishes I make a nice deep flavor which I can`t find in any other mushrooms. My husband on the other hand loves Portobello mushrooms, so much that we buy them every week. I usually make Portobello mushrooms burger for my mushroom lover husband whenever I find them at the grocery store. For the smaller portobello mushrooms, I love using it to make mushroom & spinach omelets, which is another favorite in our household. Some of you might not have seen the other type of mushroom, I am not sure what you call it in English but I have always known it as the"Abalone Mushroom". It is extremely delicious when you braise it in soy sauce or stir fry it with vegetables like broccoli, kailan and bak choy.
