So on my trip to San Francisco, we also visited Las Vegas as well. Now instead of taking a plane there, actually took a bus tour, so I got to see a lot of the countryside!
So on our roadtrip, we stopped at Murray Family Farms, which is a family owned farm I think? But they have fresh fruits and breakfast items in the morning for you to pick up! So we ended up picking up a box of blueberries, which were amazing by the way and chicken fried steak breakfast okie fry pie.
So when we actually go there, they had run out of okie pies and we actually had to wait for 15 minutes until they fried up a new batch. So I`m not sure what an okie fry pie is exactly, but it tasted really good! They had different variations like sausage and egg okie fry pie, but I decided to try the chicken fried steak and egg one instead! So I wasn`t expecting something as giant as it was, think of it like a patty made with a flaky pastry and then stuffed with a whole chicken fried steak and scrambled eggs...a little too much for breakfast, but it was soooo good!
At $4.99 USD, I think it was definitely worth it and I got a chance to try something out that I don`t think I would be able to find in Canada! I would definitely revisit them if I pass them again on the highway in the States!
Sorry the second picture looks so nasty, I wanted to show you guys what`s inside but that was the only photo I had T_T
Have you guys tried an okie fry pie before?
*Pictures are mines!
