When I visited my sister in Indiana, Indianapolis which was the first time ever traveling by myself the big thing I noticed compared to California is that the building structures over there are SO nice. They are detailed and just every building you look at is so nice that I can`t even guess what the buildings are.
Browsing through my old photos as I am rearranging them into year/month/category and such, I stumbled across this beautiful building but what is it? I was able to find a name of the building on the photo and it`s called Murat put that and the street together, bam my search has been found. Thanks to the Internet =) Without the Internet how would live be... cause I sure wouldn`t be researching through books to find what this place is, lol.
But anyway this building was named Murat Shrine but now it`s known as Old National Centre or simply an entertainment venue located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The building itself is incredible, it was inspired by Islamic temples that you can find in Egypt or the Middle East. There are stained glass throughout, terra cotta trim, minarets, and brick.
What can you do here?
Go to concerts
All sorts of venues
Host an event or party
I never been inside but from the website it looks really pretty. There are high ceilings and it just looks like a castle. Check it out: http://oldnationalcentre.com/photos-videos
From what I remember this Theatre is near lots of restaurants and bars cause it`s on/near the main street. =)
