My friends and I have been trying to plan a trip down south, so we thought it would be a good idea to meet for dinner after work so we could brainstorm.
We decided to head to Moxie`s, but we ended up spending most of the evening chatting and gossiping instead of planning our trip lol.
But we did get to enjoy some good food in the meanwhile!
Moxie`s has a holiday special menu right now, so looking at it, I immediately settled on the Seared Ginger Tuna Salad.
It came with a seared albacore Tuna steak, served rare in the middle. The salad has mixed lettuce, edamame beans, daikon, and crushed cashews and the dressing is a cucumber and ponzu emulsion. The dressing was very refreshing, and a great complement to the tuna and greens.
My only complaint was that they included lots of cilantro that was not trimmed properly, which made them difficult to eat. Not a big deal, but something I noticed a few times while eating. Eventually, I just picked out the cilantro lol.
Regardless, I was really impressed overall, and while I would like to try different items on the menu, I would totally order this again.
