Filipino spaghetti is sweeter (not in a bad way) than any other type of spaghetti I`ve ever tried. The way my grandmother makes it is so delicious, it`s sweet although the meat and the way the pasta is prepared balances out all of the tasty flavors. It`s almost comparable to Jollibee`s (a local Filipino fast food restaurant that I utterly love!).
On top of that, my grandmother decided to pair it up with Texas Toast (which can be bought at Fry`s, Walmart, etc). This is my first time trying it and it`s PERFECT! The buttery-ness and the thick crunchy toast goes extremely well with the sweetness of the spaghetti.
Have you guys tried Filipino spaghetti? Texas Toast from the New York brand? :)
