Morning Porridge

So this morning woke up not feeling too well . I wanted to eat something full-filling and warm . Even though the weather outside is kind of warm, I just wanted to eat something warm anyways, to make my body feel better . I wanted to make home-made Hmong chicken noodle soup, but my mom said wait until dinner so the chicken can defrost and it`ll be faster and easier to cook. So instead I made home-made porridge . Its, really easy and quick to cook .

In order to cook it, you can use un-cooked rice or cooked rice to make it . I used un-cooked rice because I like how the grain of the rice tastes . More of a fresh taste to it, than cooked rice . I let the water boil and then added in the rice stirring it occasionally, so the rice won`t stick to the pot . When the rice got aldente, I added in some salt and granulated chicken broth for flavoring . After that I let it cook for a few more minutes then it was ready to serve . I then added in my own preference of condiments and was ready to eat ! (:
