Yes I am a midwestern girl that enjoy her fair share of red meat for dinner. Red meat gets a bad reputation some times. I know a lot of people that stray away from red meat because it`s not seen as a healthy protein option. However, if you choose your beef selection wisely, you can enjoy red meat without the bad effects.
I like to choose grassfed beef, making the cuts of meat more natural and healthy (kind of like the organic selection of meats). That way I don`t have to sacrifice eating beef while still staying healthy.
And for the sides? Some grilled onions and mushrooms are a must in my family. And substitute the rice for ground cauliflower, seasoned with lime and cilantro for all that flavor!
