It`s August 15th on the Chinese Lunar Calender which calls for the Autumn festival. And this means mooncake time! I have here two different types of mooncake. One is made with wintermelon paste and the other is called ham mooncake, well in chinese that`s what it`s called but I didn`t know the english name for it. The Ham mooncake has almonds, cashews, sesame seeds, melon seeds and I think ham in it. The wintermelon one is just a paste made with wintermelon. The ham one is my fall the favorite. These aren`t cheap either, they are $4.25 each but hey, once a year is not bad right. Did you buy any mooncakes this year and what kind do you usually get?
