Availability: I picked my bottle of Golden Green up directly from Models Own during a 50% off promo a while back. They ship internationally as does Ninja Polish who also carry Models Own products. Models Own is readily available throughout the UK at stores like Boots, Next, Republic, Very and USC.
My Two Cents: First of all, I typically do not use polish that is not 3 Free, but I had heard such rave reviews about Models Own that I decided to make an exception. Well that and I had been drooling over swatches of the Beetlejuice collection for ages. With that said, its not something I will be making a habit of.
Golden Green goes on a bit sheer initially but becomes more opaque with that second coat. You could get away with just two coats, but I went for a third and was glad that I did as it seemed to just do the trick. The duo-chrome effect of this tends to lean more toward the subtle side but its beautiful nonetheless. I was rather impressed with the durability as I wore this for a good five days before I noticed any chipping and I am pretty hard on my hands and nails.
One thing I did not like was that the Models Own nail lacquers do not smell nice at all. I figure that is just a side effect of them not being 3 Free though. Personally I dont understand why their entire product line isnt because they do have a PRO line that is 3Free. Hopefully in the not too distant future, Models Own will step up and reformulate the rest of their polishes.
