Had to try this and I LOVE IT! Made quite a few for my home.
All you need is :
Regular printer paper
White tissue paper
Mod Podge (will put homemade recipe I use below)
Paint brush or sponge
Canvas (size of your choice)
I begin by choosing a photo,
Tape the tissue paper to the regular paper - to keep it from getting jammed in printer
print photo onto tissue paper (which is taped to reg. paper)
trim tissue paper once photo has been printed
use mod podge (or homemade glue) to carefully apply tissue paper to canvas with brush
Let dry overnight. (canvas must dry laying down or ink will bleed)
Homemade mod podge:
Fill half of a jar with water
Fill other half with - White Elmer`s School Glue
Shake until water and glue have mixed properly.
