This grocery store is a little pricier than say Hmart but it is totally worth it! i think the quality is a little bit better and they have a great selection of japanese specific items. there is also a food court with a great selection of food (japanese) to choose from. they have assorted donburi bowls, udon, ramen, a mochi shop, a book store, and some other things but i got so excited over the tonkatsu-don that i stopped looking. i ended up splitting a rice bowl with my friend and she didn`t want to eat pork (which is what tonkatsu is made of) so we ended up getting ten-don (tempura rice bowl) and it was delicious. it had eggplant, green pepper, shrimp, white fish (not sure which) and salmon tempura. wah so delicious!! i also added a bowl of miso soup for a dollar and it totally hit the spot. i heard the chicken kaarage is ridiculously good here so i will be trying that next time (:
i had originally come here in search of green tea kit kats that another blogger had posted about (i forgot who but she went to the mitsuwa in san diego i think) and i found them! they`re delicious so thank you for your post!!
