I made a nice soup for myself last night with some ingredients I found in the fridge.
Personally, I don`t like the miso packets with the seasoning, I prefer making my own miso soup with miso paste as it tastes a lot better and is fresher.
This was a quick soup that only used:
1 1/2 Tablespoons of Miso Paste
1 Teaspoon of Sesame oil
1/2 pack of Seasoned Laver
1/4 cup of Corn
3 Cups of Water
Boil the water and slowly at the miso paste in and stir until completely dissolved.
Once it reaches boiling point, add the corn and rip the seasoned laver into small pieces into the pot.
Remove from heat and add the teaspoon of sesame oil in.
It makes for a very delicious and healthy soup that warms you right up =) The sesame oil helps put more texture into the soup and flavor.
