While I was browsing the internet for the applications of mirrors and lenses in architecture for my report, I ran through this brilliant idea and design, the Mirror Tower.
I`m not sure if this already exists or it is still a plan.
Basically, it`s a building enveloped by `sliding panels made of perforated sheet metal with mirror polish finishing. It reflects, protects and lets views and light pass all at the same time.` It may sound common nowadays but the big catch is that the mirrors reflect different places, in different orientation, at different time.
If you want to read more about it, just hit the source link. Pictures are not mine.
I`m still looking for the applications of mirrors and lenses in architecture. So if you have any idea, just post a comment. :))
