I tried this a week ago and I absolutely love this combination of mint and lemonade! Here`s the recipe:
2 cups sugar
6 cups water
2 cups fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup mint leaves
Basically, you put 2 cups sugar and 2 cups water in a saucepan and boil it to make a sugar syrup. You stir it so all the sugar has melted and let it cool. Then, put the lemon juice in a large pitcher or jar, whatever you want to store it in, and then add the remaining 4 cups water and then as much of the sugar syrup as you want until it becomes your desired taste. Stir in the mint leaves and then refrigerate for 1 hour. Then, you take it out, put some ice in it and voila!
I love this drink and this will definitely be a drink that I`m going to make a lot of in the summer.
Try this out and tell me how it goes!
