When my man goes shopping he always likes to buy things in bulk and if it wasn`t for the large stand up freezer things would go bad for sure. We were talking about making turkey chili one time and he went out and bought 3 packages of ground turkey lol. So one day I decided to look online for a turkey burger recipe and found this recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/sandra-lee/cajun-turkey-burgers-with-cayenne-curly-fries-recipe/index.html I followed the instructions and used all ingredients minus the salt and bacon and added ground pepper and garlic and onion powder. Instead of making their sauce I opted to mix a bit of a Maui onion ponzu dressing with hot sauce as ranch dressing isn`t something I consider healthy. I sauteed some mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions and served the mini turkey patties on top with the sauce. 3 mini patties were actually too much for the both of us. Turkey burgers are okay. I find them a bit dry compared to beef, but the recipe was still pretty good.
Have you tried turkey burgers before?
