Mini Ms. Piercing Haul

Before I began work yesterday, I had to get a clear nose ring for work, since I`m not supposed to have mine in for work, but nose rings close very fast so I needed a clear one. I ordered it from Ms. Piercing, and it was about $4, but $7 after shipping. I got a clear (retainer) nose screw in size 18G. However, this ring did nothing but be a total nightmare! I never ever use screw rings, I really like the "L" shaped one the best. This was very hard to put in, and after I got the first half in, I tried for over an hour to turn it to get the second half in. It seriously was hurting SO bad, that it got to the point where I was crying and swearing, and I just couldn`t take it anymore, and took it out and gave up. My nose still hurts! After looking at it closer, I noticed it was a lot bigger than a normal 18G ring, and I checked online and failed to notice the fine print saying "Order a size smaller, these run big" or something like that. OF COURSE. So, the pain was caused because, well, I was basically gauging my nose OW.
So what I ended up doing was something quite crafty - I put back in my normal ring, and cut out a small circle from a band-aid, used eyelash glue to keep the sides down, and then used concealer to make it blend in with my skin. Whatever - it worked! xox
