Hello everyone! I`ve been shopping a bit recently & thought I`d share my purchases & some thoughts. Let`s get to it, shall we?
In the hopes of keeping my very dry skin hydrated this Autumn, I purchased the Coconut Body Milk from The Body Shop. If you haven`t tried these before, they`re kind of weird: the come in a spray bottle, since the product is literally as the name suggests, like milk. You spray it on your body & rub it into your skin. It`s very hydrating & gentle, & the coconut scent is divine. The Body Shop was also having a half-off sale on their body spray, so I purchased the Shea Body Mist & I can tell you that I`m so glad I did. The scent isn`t what you would expect. It`s deep yet very light, & really hard to describe. The perfume lasts so long on your body & clothes. I think it`s a perfect Autumn/Winter scent, so I`d definitely recommend it.
Recently I bought the very hyped-up Cetaphil bottled gentle cleanser after being a firm believer in their anti-bacterial cleansing bars for years, but I found that it clogged my skin like crazy & broke me out in painful zits all over my face (I`m not joking, all-freaking-over). So I decided that instead of trying out a chemical product, I`d instead add some natural stuff to my skincare routine. I stopped by Lush Cosmetics & purchased their Eau Roma Water Toner. It claims to calm redness & hydrate the skin, which is always a need for me. Unexpectedly, after one of the employees tried out their best-selling Ocean Salt Scrub on me, I bought it. I always thought it would be too harsh for me, but she showed me how it`s actually gently grainy, & how the grains dissolve as you rub it on your skin. I`m excited to try these skincare products & see how I like them.
Finally, from Forever 21, I purchased two pairs of shorts... which kind of contradicts the reason I went shopping in the first place. I do live in Florida, however, so it doesn`t get that cold here. First I bought some jogging shorts in a deep blue color. They`re really comfy, good for around the house or to run a few errands, & they were also only $7.80. I didn`t expect them to fit nicely when I saw them on the rack but decided to try them out anyway, & I`m glad I did. The second pair was a bit more expensive at $15.80, but I really liked the fit. They`re slightly higher at the waist, which makes them very flattering, & the perfect oatmeal color. They`ll look great with sweaters & cardigans.
So that`s it for my little haul. Let me know if you`ve tried any of the products mentioned & give me your thoughts.
