I went to Walgreen last night to pick up a hand lotion (which they did not have) and bad-aid for kids and a bright green sale tag caught my eyes and the product was St. Ives Apricot Scrub (yes the infamous scrub from the St. Ives collection).
The one I got was Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub-Invigorating..well since I have never tried this product and my friend who raves about it loves it, I decided to pick it up.
I used it last night and here`s my first product impression...
The consistancy is very very rough. It sort of reminds me of Khiel`s scrub that has been discontinued for years...(the nutty one if anyone remembers). Anyways, I thought it was a bit rough on my face which it`s probably not good.
After I used the scrub I did my daily night time routine but I actually layered extra layer of my night cream. The next morning (today) my skin looked pretty oily probably due to my extra layer of my night cream and I took a shower and when I came out my skin was GLOWING! I`m not sure if it is the scrub or the extra layer of the night cream but seriously it was glowing and my skin haven`t glowed like that since my pregnancy...
I did some research and I guess this is not a "ideal" product for your face but I am going to use it few times before I decide to put this in my beauty junk pile. (If anything, I think this will work great as body scrub so I have a back up plan hehehe)
Enjoy your day!
