Its been a super long time since I`ve shopped [and posted] so I thought I would treat myself to something nice over the past weekend. Calgary does not have as many stores to shop at, but it was still invigorating to visit a few of my favourites.
My first stop was at Forever 21, where I picked up an awesome button up an off white sweater for half price! My skin is extremely sensitive and I am lucky to be able to find a cardigan that fits my needs. I can dress this down with a pair of jeans and tank underneath or dress it up with just a pair of slim black pants and accessories.
A creme chiffon button caught my eye next. Not only is this my first piece of chiffon clothing, it is an article of clothing that is unlike the rest of my wardrobe due to 1. colour and 2. the style. I think it works well with a pair of leggings underneath or over a pair of shorts for summer. The sleeve also rolls up so I can change up the style if I ever need to.
One staple in my closet is LEGGINGS - they are probably some of the comfiest things to wear on the lower half of my body (yoga pants anyone?) and unfortunately, I put a hole in the knee area of last pair of leggings - which were only 4 months old - and went back to Aritizia for another pair of TNA leggings. I find that quality and stretch of these leggings remarkable. They are durable, my first pair took 5 years to wear out, and if I was paying any attention to myself, I would not have hooked my second pair onto a nail and cause it to ripe. The length of the leggins may look long, but what is awesome about these leggings, is that you can cut the length to whatever you want. There are little invisible slits that show you what length is available and there are four to choose from.
So that sums up my two hour shopping trip for clothing, but I am quite happy with what came home with me. How do you like my items?
