Wow!! This new eyeshadow from Milani is gorgeous. All the other colors went out of my vision as I saw Green Fortune. It is baked so there are many colors being swirled around through the eyeshadow. It is so marbled I wasn`t even sure how it would end up looking on my eyelid, but couldn`t wait to find out.
I swiped some on with an all over eyeshadow brush. It looked like a very light brown with gold glitter, but when you look at the glitter from different angles, there is purple and green in it. With baked eyeshadows, you can also wear them wet, so I tried it wet with the included sponge applicator as the instructions suggested. Wow, what a difference. Instead of just scattering glitter over my eyelid, there was now a beautiful taupe shadow with shimmery sheen PLUS those sparkly gold glitters with the purple and green glimmer to them.
I am not one to wear super glittery eyeshadow, usually going for a more natural look. But this glitter isn`t very concentrated, it is just the right amount of glitter and the shadow when used wet is just a gorgeous color that would look great on anyone. No, I probably won`t wear this shadow to my 9-5 job, but yes I will wear it on evenings out. I think it would work well over any eyeshadow to turn an everyday look into something special for evening.
It was about $7 at CVS and I think it is worth it!
