The eighth-grader with Down syndrome, Owen Groesser, has made a name for himself by draining two 3-pointers in his final basketball home game. Groesser had not played this entire season for Van Hoosen Junior High School, but entered late in the game in the team`s season finale this past Wednesday. Prompting a Twitter campaign about his success, Groesser managed to have his highlight featured on ESPN`s SportsCenter. I am excited for him and wish him much success in the future.
