so i recently posted about delicious takoyaki http://www.luuux.com/food/takoyaki-13?blog_id=37191
and where to find it around southern california. it`s kind of a difficult task to find it freshly made so i was super excited to find frozen, microwavable takoyaki! lol okay, clearly it was not as good, but you still get the delicious creaminess and unique flavor of takoyaki.
instead of microwaving it i heated it up on the stove and gave it a quick glaze in spicy miso broth. i added a little butter to pick up all the yummy crusted miso from the bottom of the pan and keep the takoyaki from sticking. i let it cook maybe 5-10 minutes on medium heat. let it cool - dressed w/ kewpie & sriracha YUM
this was a great snack and totally hit the spot. i found this at a japanese grocery store but im sure its available at most asian markets. check out your local one! the package was about $4.00 i think
