Im a week early on this post but its favorites time!! And for the first time ever since doing monthly favorites Im also going to be adding some misses just because I cant stop hating on these two products! Lol
/viz/mac-charcoal-brown: I got this maybe last month but Ive been using this religiously! Its perfect for filling in my brows and it also makes a great crease shade.
/viz/mac-eyeshadow-vex: In the pan this looks straight up silver but on the lid it has a hint of pink which makes it such a pretty shade for the lids. I bought this on impulse a long time ago and barely used it until now!
/viz/mac-eyeshadow-print: Print is a really dark almost asphalt grey color and its perfect for creating a subtle smokey eye without it looking too dark or harsh. This in the crease and with vex on the lid is gorgeous!
/viz/mac-eyeshadow-wedge: Ive been using this lately as my blending color. I typically reach for soft brown by m.a.c. but I like this one for blending out color without making this color too visible in the crease.
Loreal Voluminous Original Mascara: I use to hate this mascara but I decided to give it another chance and now I LOVE it!
/viz/mac-half-n-half-0: Ive finally found my perfect nude lipstick!
/viz/free-mac: this is a bit darker then a natural lip color because of the red undertones in it but its really nice. For me this is one of those lipstick that when you dont know what to wear on your lips I grab this.
/viz/sonia-kashuk-mauvey: I have a new love for Sonia Kashuk lipstick! This is my first one but I definitely want more! Sonia Kashuk synthetic buffing brush: I initially bought this wanting to try it for liquid foundation but its too big to use for liquid foundation so Ive actually been using it for my bare minerals foundation and it works really well. This brush is extremely soft and its also dense enough to use with loose mineral foundation and also presses powders as well. Sonia Kashuk pointed blending brush: I might have to get a second one of this brush! Its the perfect size for my eye because I dont have much lid space so this brush is actually thinner for a blending brush and its also pointed so it applies shadow in a small concentrated area.
MISSES: /viz/loreal-one-sweep-sculpting-blush-duohorrible: If you didnt read my post about this let me shorten up what I said in that postthis product sucks!! Prestige My Blackest Lashes Macsara: I wanted to try this mascara because of michele1218 on you tube and she raved about this mascara but when I got this at started using it, it was not great at all. It was very clumpy and it gave me spider lashes! I really wanted to like this mascara and maybe I just got a bad tube but this mascara was pretty much a fail for me.
What are some of your hits or misses for this month?
