Well this is a super duper long and overdue post but lets be honest here Ive been lazy to blog lately or at least take the pictures for it. I wrote this post out before new years but never took the pictures until now lol. Anyways I already did my /viz/micas-2012-skincare-favorites if you want to check that out. I broke it up into two posts because I had so many products and I thought separating them into skincare and makeup would be better. So here it is my 2012 favorite makeup products!! Urban Decay Naked 2: I got this for Christmas last year so Ive had the whole year to really enjoy it and experiment with it. I personally prefer the naked two palette over the first one but to each their own. Maybelline Color Tattoos: I only pictured one of these but this product in general I have loved throughout this past year! Id say this is one of the top products in my book that was released in 2012. Its just an amazing product and I have them in several different colors. It comes in a variety of great color, the staying power is great and price point wise just makes it even better. This is one of those super versatile products and hopefully Maybelline releases even more color because really want them to have a jade or forest green color! Revlon Lip Butters:I remember these were all the rage when they first came out and I was all over them! I remember I would drive to every drugstore in my area just to find all the shades I wanted, later to only find out that they became a permanent product lol. I have quite a few of these lip butters but my absolute favorite is Pink Truffle because its a great everyday color for me. These lip butters give great color while keeping the lips moisturized and looking glossy! Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains: As if I wasnt already obsessed with the Lip Butters Revlon comes out with this product! This product was also released in 2012 and I have to admit I was totally late jumping onto the balm stain band wagon but Im glad I did because they are awesome! I have this in several shades as well but my favorite color out of all of them is Smitten. M.A.C. Taupe & Half N Half lipsticks: Ive always had a hard time choosing the perfect nude lipstick for myself just because a lot of nude lipstick Ive come across were always too light and washed me out and also just made me look dead lol. Well 2012 was the year I found not only one but two perfect nude lipstick for my skin tone. They are both warmer then the typical nude lipstick but I just love them. NARS Sin & Mata Hari blushes: These are my only NARS blushes and I just love them so much. These are the only two I have and I honestly dont have a desire to get any more of them. Everyone love orgasam but I find that its nothing special at all and I also feel like its easily dupable. These two are great. Sin I wear mostly during the fall and winter and Mata Hari I wear any season. Loreal Telescopic Mascara: This was the first year that I really stuck to only 1-2 mascaras. Before I would buy so many mascaras especially ones that were new in the market to try out and I always end up not liking a majority of them. Telescopic worked for me a long time ago so thats what Ive been buying for the past months and its just what Ive stuck with. Its a good mascara for me because it has a small applicatory so it gets all my lashes and also my bottom lashes. Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer: Ive never been one to wear face primers until I heard so much about this one. I bought it on impulse back before summer and its just been what makes my makeup better. No matter if its the cold or heat this stuff will keep your makeup looking fresh! theBalm Frat Boy blush: BEST APRICOT BLUSH EVER! Thats all I got to say about that lol Wet N Wild Megalast Nail Polish: Since Wet N Wild reformulated and changed their packaging for this line of nail polish I have been all over them. They are amazing quality and they are only a buck 99! You cant beat that price! Sugar Coat which is a pale neutral pink is my favorite and Im almost out. Bare Minerals foundation: I have become a love of Bare Minerals! I dont wear much liquid foundation anymore and its because of this product. Liquid foundation is just fussy but this foundation is just easy and it looks flawless. Its a very lightweight product and you really dont feel like you have anything on your face. I have both the original formula as well as the matte one and they are both amazing. Physicians Formula 2-in-1 lash boosting eyeliner: I strictly got this because one of my friends said it really helped her eye lashes grow and I must agree it does help with lash growth. Its not like I had super short lashes or anything but Ive definitely seen a difference with them plus its a really good liquid liner. Shiseido lash curler: With this lash curler I really feel like you get what you pay for. After my drama with the stupid e.l.f. lash curler I invested in this lash curler. I cringed at the register paying 16 bucks for a lash curler but its been all worth it! Great Lash transparent mascara for brows: Ive never used any brow gel before this product and not its something I cant live without whenever I fill in my brows. It just completes my brows! Loreal Double Extend waterproof mascara: believe it or not this is my first waterproof mascara ever. I never really found the need to have a waterproof mascara until I went to Hawaii and thought it might be nice to have. Its really a good waterproof mascara but then again I cant really compare it to any other waterproof mascaras but I will say it holds a curl pretty good! __________________________________________________________________________
