Im famous for making these with people around me they are called mexican wedding cakes or mexican wedding cookies. They are just about the only cookies ill eat more than one or two of. they consist of 1 cup butter i use tubbed instead of sticked because its easier to mix, 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 cups flour, teaspoon of cinnamon and i use sugar and cinnamon as a coating for some of them:) they are very good! you mix the butter until its fluffy then add a cup of powdered sugar wix until fluffy and blended add the flour and mix add maple syrup or vanilla 2 teaspoons mix until its of a dough consistency and split it in half roll each half into a ball wrap in plastic wrap and set in the fridge 30mins or until chilled. then roll into a little less than half inch balls and put on a baking sheet an half inch or so apart cook for 18-30mins until they start to turn light brown. mix the cinnamon and sugar and or cinnamon and powdered sugar and roll the cookies in it until they are well covered and serve:)
