I`ve been looking for a better foundation than the one I am currently using which is the Revlon Whipped foundation. Don`t get me wrong, I love this foundation but I just wanted to find something that would give me a flawless look. I`ve gotten samples from Lancôme and had no luck. I loved the finish but it gave me dry patches on my cheeks after having it on for a while. Then I stumbled upon the MAC studio sculpt foundation on youtube. So, I decided to go to MAC and asked to get colored match which I was to NC42. And the MA applied it on me with a stippling brush. So continued to ask me if I was interested in a concealer and I was and I had the Prolong Wear in mind. And we gave each other high fives after I told her this..lol.. I did tons of research before I decided to try these products out. After applying both products on me she also applied their blush called Sunbasque which I love and am planning on purchasing in a future purchase so watch out for that post. But anyways, this foundation was more than what I had expected. It gave me the coverage I wanted which was med to full coverage. It also gave me a dewy look which I loved cause I have dry skin. And the most important thing was that it didn`t dry my skin out and no dry patches on my cheek. I think I have found my HG foundation. And the concealer, omg! I have tried drugstore concealers with little to no success. Even though I like the Maybelline age rewind concealers but I still wasn`t happy with them. But the prolong wear is gonna be my favorite until I find a better one. But this one actually covers my under eye circles and the most important thing is that it doesn`t amplify the fine lines underneath my eyes. And one more thing is that it`s not drying!!! I`ve finally found a concealer that is not drying!! The only bad thing about this concealer which I`ve heard other people having problems with it too is the pump. The pump it really hard to control. One pump gives you way too much product even for both eyes. When I try to pump it out, I go really really slow and I try to get half a pump out. The foundation was $31 and the concealer was $19, so this is not bad compared to what I was gonna pay for the Lancôme one which was around $42. Thanks for reading my post.
