This is going to be part one of my metallic purple look. What I`m trying to do is show that, you don`t need a ton of makeup to achieve different looks with your makeup, all you need to do is tweak how you apply the makeup.
For this look, I use my new Two Faced, Shadow Bon Bons palette. From the palette I used the colors, Framboise, Licorice Latte and Nude Beach. To get a more day appropriate look, I first primed my lids, then I put Framboise all over my lid. Then I took Licorice Latte and focused it on my lids and blended up creating a gradient effect. Kinda like you would a smokey eye. But because we`re not using super dark colors, it`s still day appropriate. And then I used whatever remaining eye shadow there was on the brush on my lower lash line. Then I dabbed a little bit of the Nude Beach in my inner corners to bring more light to the eyes. Lastly, I lined my eyes and applied mascara and you`re done. Simple and quick. You can definitely tone it down some more by getting a eyeshadow or powder foundation that`s close to your skin color, and further blend the Framboise where your crease is.
What do you guys think of this look? What are some ways you turn a look from day to night?
