KIMBERLY MCDONALD is known for using materials such as agate and geodes in her super-chic jewellery, and now the designer is turning her hand to homewares.
"I have always been a bit of a decor junkie, and so the thought of bringing the same materials that I use in my fine jewellery collection to a table top, desk or home was a completely natural progression - it just felt right," she told us. "I also love the thought of repurposing vintage pieces, accenting them with beautiful natural and organic materials, and then finishing them with the same attention to quality and detail that we give to the fine jewellery."

Featuring Lucite boxes, agate lamps and even scarves, the collection will also include larger, one-of-a-kind pieces.
"A beautiful agate may lend itself to defining a spectacular lamp, while yet another finds new life as a delicate pendant, painstakingly nestled into a bezel of irregular diamonds," she said. "My main process is to highlight nature and the amazing materials that come from the Earth and doing my best to ultimately show them in the finest possible light."
And the designer has another exciting plan in store - she`s opening her first atelier on the west coast of the United States.
"It has long been a dream of mine to have a very special bespoke environment in which to showcase the full range of the brand, and it is one that I very much look forward to bringing to fruition," she said.
The new homewares collection will be available in September.
