Maybelline HAUL!

I just received a whole bunch of new Maybelline products I purchased online for super cheap! (by NZ standards anyway). I purchased all of these products in a one day sale online for $21 NZD including shipping! I am so excited to try these all out and to see how they are as they are all new products that I have never tried before!

So first off this is a Maybelline Chic Naturals eyeshadow trio which I got in the colour Chocolate Mousse. I instantly loved this one because I dont have very many lighter neutral colours in my collection and I had been looking for some to get. Usually I find that the Maybelline eyeshadows are pretty good quality especially of worn with a primer so I jumped at the opportunity to pick this quad up!
It comes with a really pretty white highlight colour (which looks a wee bit more pinky in person) which is almost completely matt (I can only see the odd wee shimmer in it), I mid-tone brown/taupe colour which is shimmery and would almost be skin tone-ish if you were slightly darker than me. Finally it comes with a darker brown colour which I instantly loved because its not a ridiculously dark brown colour which means I can wear it everyday with out it looking silly and wayyy to dark on me (for a natural day look). It also has some shimmer in it.

Next I bought the Mineral Power concealer with mico minerals in it in the shade 0-1 fair (because I am ghostly pale!!) I am looking for a new concealer to cover up my horrible dark under-eye circles and redness on my face as well as the odd blemish and I had heard a few good reviews on this concealer so I thought that because it was such a cheap price I would grab it to see what it was like!
It comes in a wee tube with a really nice Doe foot applicator wich I really like. Its looking a smidge more yellowy in this photo than it really is but from swatching it I could tell it had a really nice smooth, creamy texture and it blended out well onto my hand giving good coverage so first impressions I think it will be good!!

Next, I was REALLY excited to get both of these products. I have used the dream Matt mousse foundation in the past so knew I would love the texture of these but had never had the chance to test the blush and bronzers out so I was waiting very excitedly for them to arrive!!! I got the Bronzer in 10 Glistening sun and the blush in 50 cloud wine. The Blush is beautiful plumy sort of colour which is like nothing else I have on my collection. The Bronzer a lovely light, shimmery bronze shade.

Finally, I got a mineral power illuminator in the colour nude. To be honest I had never seen the mineral power illuminators before so I wasn`t sure what to expect but I thought I`d order it anyway hoping to receive a product I could use as a highlight for my cheekbones.
So it comes in a round container with a screw off lid. There is some tape covering the holes when you first receive it and once you remove that you will see 5 sifting holes. I was really scared that this would get really messy being a loose powder but I have found that only minimal product comes through the sifting holes and once which is really good. It is an off white-ish sort of sparkly powder which is really smooth and finely ground. I think it will work out to be a really good cheek highlighter but defiantly not for all over face etc as I think it is a tad too sparkly for me.

So over all I am really happy with the products I purchased and am really looking forward to having a play with them all and trying them out!

I hope you enjoyed this post xxx
