Carrying on from Maybelline`s Fit Me Foundation I also tried out the pressed powder and wanted to give a short and simple review on my thoughts.
Again the pressed powder is also split into a colour system to match the shade and undertone of your skin. I matched mine to the foundation I chose so I picked out 120 Classic Ivory. I`m funny when it comes to pressed powder I can be very picky. I want something to set my makeup but always have a fear it will cause my foundation to cake. This on the other hand was a perfect fit!
The packaging is quite nice on these, a sleek black compact with a transparent square in the center to view the powder. A hidden compartment under the powder opens up and contains a powder press and also a pretty decent mirror. I love how this line looks.
I applied the powder with a powder brush and also tried out the powder press applicator. I liked both but brushes are always more hygienic. Over the foundation it worked beautifully. Took away any left over redness and gave a nice matte finish but with a natural glow still visible. With only a few minor touch ups it held up really well over an eight hour day.
The powder retails for 8.99 and is available nationwide. Also purchased this in Boots!
