Hi everyone! Here is the other part of my Maybelline Fall Fashion Week haul featuring their Color Show nail polishes. If you`d like to see my first haul, which included the four new Color Tattoos and one of the eyeshadow quads, please click /viz/maybelline-fashion-week-haul-eyes-edition-pic-heavy. As far as I know, all of the nail polishes released for the Fashion Week collection are new and not re-promotes, but I could be wrong as I didn`t follow the original release of Maybelline Color Shows too closely. There are six shades in the collection and three of each shade in the display. These are normally $3.99 at other drugstores, but they were $3.49 at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Now, 50 cents may not seem like a big deal, but pair that with a 20% off BBB coupon and some manufacturer`s coupon and you would have some nice savings there. You could wait for a 40% off Maybelline sale at the regular drugstore, but by the time that happens the displays may be wiped out. I had 4x $1 off manufacturer`s coupons so that made each of these $2.50 a piece, which is not a bad price for a drugstore nail polish.
The shades I picked up are: Cosmo Pink: a pearly beige/champagne with flashes of pink Downtown Brown: a red-toned brown base with blue-green duochrome (it`s like a nail polish version of MAC`s Club, Blue Brown pigment or any shadow of that nature) Metal Icon: medium brown chock full of silver bits Boho Gold: another Chanel Peridot dupe, looks like molten gold that bleeds into green that bleeds into blue. May also be a dupe for OPI`s /viz/on-my-nails-opi-quotjust-spotted-the-lizardquot. Both of these shades are limited edition, so if you couldn`t get your hands on the OPI version (or it`s too expensive) then this may be a good alternative Thanks for reading. I`ll try to get swatches up soon. Have you gotten any of these polishes? What do you think of them? All images and content are my own.
