Hi everyone! A couple weeks ago I heard that the new Maybelline Fall Fashion Week 2012 collection was hitting drugstores so naturally I went stalking my local drugstores to make sure I got all the products I wanted. According to Nouveau Cheap, the collection would probably hit Rite Aid, then Walgreens and finally CVS. My local Rite Aid got the nail polishes, but didn`t get the eyeshadows, and none of the other drugstores in the area had anything from the collection. So one day I went to the Bed, Bath & Beyond close to my workplace to pick up vitamins for my mom, and lo and behold, I found everything from the collection there! The displays had about three of each shade and the display was fully stocked so I was able to get everything I wanted. The prices were also a few dollars cheaper than what they are at the drugstores so that was a big plus!
What I got: - Eyestudio eyeshadow quad in Olive Martini ($7.49 @ BBB compared to $10.49 @ the drugstores) - 24 Hour Color Tattoos ($4.99 @ BBB compared to $8.49 @ drugstores): Gold Shimmer, Barely Beige, Rich Mahogany & Mossy Green I also used $1 off manufacturer`s coupons for each of the items so that helped with the cost. There are also three other Eyestudio quads available that are also new, but none of those shades appealed to me so I only picked up Olive Martini. The four Color Tattoos I picked up are all new, but they also put two of the permanent line shades in the display so just be sure to check the shade names. But wait! There`s more! My mom gets those 20% off coupons in the mail from BBB, but unfortunately I didn`t have them when I purchased these. Luckily BBB has one of the most generous coupon policies ever: I went back a couple days later with three of those coupons, and one of them was even expired but they gave me the price adjustment anyway! So after the adjustment, I was able to each of these items for a few dollars apiece as opposed to the original price, and definitely much cheaper than you would get at the drugstore! So if you have a Bed, Bath & Beyond near you that has a makeup section, definitely check it out because the prices are a few dollars cheaper to begin with plus you can use those 20% off coupons. Just sign up for their emailing list or you can text a certain number to get mobile coupons (they have the flyer with the number on the front of the store). Thanks for reading!
