Whenever something new shows up on the shelves, I`m always tempted to buy a few of them and this lipstick looked very appealing. The packaging, the color, and even the promo pic just made me feel like I had to give this a try.
Light lavender and reminescent of the Revlon Lip Butters, minus the quilted pattern.
.15 oz or 4.2 g
Afternoon Tea is part of the Porcelains collection. I don`t remember anymore how many shades there was, lol. Probably like 5 or six.
Afternoon Tea is a lovely mauvy nude color with a cream finish. I actually liked how the color looked on me.
Creamy upon application but feels and look a bit heavy/cakey on the lips.
Can emphasize dry lips so you will need to exfoliate.
Not very moisturizing.
Last about 3 hours.
The scent is horrible, horrible, horrible, and strong. Smells like marshallow and wax. There are certain cosmetic scents that I can tolerate but this one just smells disgustingly sweet. I think if you were ever to kiss your BF or someone with this lipstick on, they would be very turned off. So don`t wear this out on a date, lol.
The packaging looks nice. The color is probably the only thing I like about this lipstick. It`s a very common shade so you can definitely find something else similar. If you don`t mind the scent and cakey formula, perhaps you might enjoy this lipstick more than I did.
My rating: 4/10
Have you tried these Porcelains lipsticks?
