Hey everyone! I wanted to do a little comparison of the Maybelline Color Tattoo cream shadows and the Revlon Illuminance cream shadows. The colors I am comparing are Audacious Asphalt, Bold Gold, Bad to the Bronze, and Pomegranate Punk from Maybelline and the Precious Metals palette from Revlon.
The top row of swatches are the Revlon shadows and the bottom row of swatches are the Maybelline colors (from left to right) Audacious Asphalt, Bold Gold, Bad to the Bronze, and Pomegranate Punk.
The price for the Revlon palette is $5-6 for a quad of cream shadows, and the price for one Maybelline cream shadow is $5-7.
I would say that the Maybelline colors are slightly more pigmented than the Revlon colors, however there is a wider color selection of Revlon colors. The Maybelline colors have a longer staying power than the Revlon colors. The Revlon colors do crease after a few hours of wear whereas the Maybelline colors have minimal creasing.
If you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to the Maybelline Color Tattoo cream shadows, Revlon Illuminance cream shadows are a great alternative because the palettes of four cream shadows are the price of one Maybelline cream shadows. I recommend both products, but if I had to pick one, I would choose the Maybelline Color Tattoo shadows.
