One thing God knows I do not need more of is, shoes. But being the hoarder that I am, I can`t ever get enough. Ok so maybe I am exaggerating....just a little, but to the average person, my collection of shoes may seem like a bit much. But I am sure all of you fellow Luuuxies can agree....because lets face it, our nail polish, shoe, jewelery, makeup collections are a bit larger than the average person`s.
Will you consider me less of a crazy person if I told you that what I paid for all 6 pairs of these shoes would be the price of one pair shoes at Target?
The first 4 pairs you see above are all from the Cotton On Outlet in Vacaville. My husband and I went to the outlets last weekend to do some gift shopping for my mom`s birthday, my sister Jessica`s college graduation, my sister Giselle`s 6th grade graduation, my sister Lizette`s 15th birthday, my husband`s nephew`s birthday, baby gifts for my sister in law and so forth. I swear even if we gave up shopping for ourselves we would still go broke from all the gifts we always have to get for family. lol. Do you guys have large families too?
Anyways, back to cotton on, I went inside to see if I could find anything for my little sisters and they were having a $5 shoe sale!! Yes, you read that correctly, $5! Most of their shoes range anywhere from $20-$40 something dollars so $5 is an amazing deal! Of course, they are not of the best quality but they are made pretty well and are really cute. I picked up a few floral flats (not shown) for my sisters and 4 pairs for myself. For myself I purchased a pair of nude colored cut out sandals which I love and have worn a lot already and also showed in in my last ootd post, a pair of faux leather moccasins, light blue polka dot peep toe flats and a pair of tan and turquoise sandals! All $5, each retailing up to $39.95.
Last week I went to Target to get a few things I needed and of course, like always, I had to check out their shoe section. The day I purchased my turquoise sandals I had also seen a pair of heels in the same color. I didn`t buy them at first but couldn`t stop thinking about them. Then I saw Arual 728 (Laura) `s latest Target shoe haul and she convinced me that I needed these in my life! Especially since they had been marked down another $6 (originally $29.99...marked down to $14.99...then marked down once again to $8.99). The fact that I was able to find my shoe size (6 1/2) was a sign from God that I needed to take them home with me.
I also had a "buy one get one 50% shoes" coupon that I had printed out from the Target coupon website so I decided to grab a pair of rose gold sandals I had seen Ingrid (Missglamorazzi) wear in many of her videos and ootds. I had been wanting them for quite some time but they never had my size until last week. These retail for $14.99.
The cashier rang up the turquoise shoes first then the sandals so when he scanned the coupon it discounted $7.50 from the sandals instead of discounting the cheaper pair...not sure why. But I`m not complaining! If you would like the BOGO 50% coupon go here: http://coupons.target.com/apparel-accessories-coupons
What I purchased:
Nude cutout sandals - $5
Faux tan leather moccasins- $5
Polka dot flats- $5
Turquoise and tan sandals- $5
Turquoise petene sandal pumps- $8.99 (originally $29.99)
Rose Gold Sandals $7.49 (originally $14.99)
I probably do not need to be buying any more shoes for a while....I think I am set for the Summer (unless of course I find any more steals)
Have you purchased any shoes lately? What`s the best deal you have gotten on a pair of shoes?
